A novemberi amerikai választás után, de még az új elnök beiktatása elõtt megtámadja Izrael Iránt - jósolta John Bolton. Az Egyesült Államok egykori ENSZ-nagykövete szerint az arab világ titokban igen hálás lesz, ha a zsidó állam lebombázza az iráni nukleáris létesítményeket.
John Bolton szinte biztos abban, hogy Izrael még az idén támadást intéz majd az iráni nukleáris létesítmények ellen, s ezzel nagy hálára kötelezi majd az arab világot. "A reakció a támadásra pozitív lesz - bár nyilvánosan nyílván el fogják azt ítélni. Lépni azonban nem fog az arab világ" - vélekedett az amerikai diplomata a The Daily Telegraphnak adott interjúban.
Bolton, aki héjának számít, maga is javasolta, hogy katonai akcióval akadályozzák meg Iránt nukleáris fegyver megszerzésében. A Bush-kormányzatban azonban nincs meg az akarat arra, hogy az amerikai hadsereg hajtson végre egy ilyen akciót - tette hozzá.
Tavaly még Bolton is hitt benne, hogy az amerikaiak katonai erõt is készek bevetni Irán ellen - ma azonban már csak Izrael elég eltökélt abban, hogy mindenképpen megakadályozza, hogy Irán nukleáris hatalommá váljon. A támadásra az "optimális idõ" a november 4-i amerikai elnökválasztás és a Fehér Ház új lakójának 2009. január 20-i beiktatása közötti idõszak - fejtette ki.

Irán elleni amerikai katonai támadástól tartanak vezető brit kormánytisztviselők, jóllehet a kérdésben az amerikai kormányon belül is erőteljesek a nézeteltérések - írta a pénteki The Times.

A londoni napilapnak magas rangú brit kormányzati illetékesek azt mondták: félő, hogy George Bush amerikai elnök "az iráni helyzetet katonai eszközökkel akarja megoldani" jövőre, mielőtt lejár második elnöki mandátuma, ha arra a következtetésre jut, hogy kudarcot vallottak az iráni nukleáris fejlesztések leállítását célzó diplomáciai erőfeszítések.

A The Times által idézett források egyike szerint Bush nem akarja megoldatlanul utódjára hagyni az iráni kérdést.

Dies ist die Gottes Verheißung und Gott hält sein Versprechen.

Kommen Sie und tragen Sie zur Verwirklichung solcher wunderbarer Zustände bei.

He said in his statement to the Third International Conference on 'Mahdaviat' that the humanity is thirsty for monotheism and justice and that by grace of the God Almighty justice will prevail in the world soon.

Apocalypse 2008?
A simple question, why does Arnaud de Borchgrave think that Iran's Ahmadinejad has set the date of the Apocalpse for 2008?
"The ultimate promise of all Divine religions," says Ahmadinejad, "will be fulfilled with the emergence of a perfect human being [the 12th Imam], who is heir to all prophets. He will lead the world to justice and absolute peace. Oh mighty Lord, I pray to you to hasten the emergence of your last repository, the promised one." He reckons the return of the Imam, AWOL for 11 centuries, is only two years away.
